The House Survey

Project Info

Our client needed a way to engage with private homeowners, gather property information and provide funding solutions. Leaflet drops, door knocking and cold calling had provided good initial results but were now more of a nuisance to the homeowner than a benefit.

How IRT Surveys helped:

Services used :

  • Thermal Imaging
  • The House Survey Website

Outcome

IRT carried out a thermal imaging program of the front elevation of all 7000 properties in 10 days. Each property was assessed for heat loss and run through our envision software. This provided estimated SAP, EPC ratings and refurbishment savings. This data was uploaded to thehousesurvey.co.uk website and each homeowner sent a secure login code. This initial letter drop resulted in a 38% engagement whereby users could see the thermal image of their home and update property details. This data was automatically collated and mapped on the site allowing our client to see geographically the best and worst homes, who had engaged and how they were interested in improving their properties.
