Since 2002 IRT has surveyed over 350,000 homes across the UK and showed hundreds of housing professionals what measures to take to make their homes more energy-efficient.
Our Story
IRT were founded in January 2002 by brothers Stewart and Alan Little with investment from Grand Theft Auto author – Dave Jones. Since inception, IRT have pioneered and innovated in the sector. Their unique quantified images of energy, DREam software and HEERO app lead the way when it comes to optimising domestic retrofits.
IRT have raised venture capital, won SMART and VIBES awards for innovation over the years and CEO, Stewart Little, was a runner up in Ernst and Youngs EoY of the competition in 2008. IRT were successful applicants to both The Carbon Trust and Centrica’s Ignite accelerator programmes in recent years
Having surveyed over 350,000 homes and 2,000 commercial buildings, including Buckingham Palace, The White House, Reichstag and EU Headquarters, IRT are uniquely placed to help clients identify simple leaks, evaluate a commercial property portfolio for refurbishment, or assess a housing portfolio for energy performance for a social landlord.
